Program Assistant (Bryant - AR)

Arkansas Early Learning is seeking a Program Assistant in Bryant, AR – Job duties include but are not limited to assisting classroom staff with children age 0-5 in any aspect of the program, all classroom activities, lesson plans, outdoor activities, developing materials, & activities related to children's cultural background, custodial aide duties in classroom & kitchen. Help supervise mealtimes, eat with children, encourage good nutrition & proper social skills. Help keep classroom clean & orderly. Substitute for the teacher, cook & assistant cook as needed. Work with center staff to maintain accreditation, participate in annual quality approval visits & comply with recommended changes & follow all state regulations for program. Perform custodial duties in classroom & kitchen to maintain a safe environment. Work with assigned children with disabilities & support in carrying out individual plans for children with special needs.

Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent Full-time, 40 hours/week Monday – Friday Salary starting at $26,540.80/year.
