Seeking applicants for a full-time, 1 year temporary position to begin Fall 2022. The Dept offers courses including General Biology, Human Biology, Anatomy & Physiology, Introduction to Plants, Invertebrate Zoology, Vertebrate Zoology, Marine Biology, Microbiology, and Ecology & Field Biology. In addition to excellent academic credentials and subject area knldge, candidates will bring a love of teaching; an enthusiastic desire to assist students; and an eagerness to contribute to the Brookdale community. Master’s degree (or higher) in Biology or related field (e.g. Zoology, Botany). Evidence of well-developed written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities. Commitment to supporting an inclusive environment on campus. Evidence of respect for and understanding of people with diverse backgrounds, abilities, and needs. Evidence of understanding about/commitment to the philosophy of a comprehensive community college. Experience in using technology in the classroom and in collaborative learning.
Annual Salary – Low to mid $60’s** (Faculty Members teaching extra courses or working additional
hours during the academic year and in the summer receive additional compensation.)
