About The District

Our school district serves approximately 1,550 students in three school buildings. Catskill Elementary School serves approximately 800 students in pre-K to grade 5. Catskill Middle School serves approximately 320 students in a team-based grade 6-8 community. Catskill High School serves approximately 430 students in grades 9 to 12.

Catskill CSD is set apart by an exceptional pre-K to 12 curriculum that allows students to build a strong academic and social foundation for success.

Catskill High School also offers honor and Advanced Placement (AP) classes, and opportunities in visual and performing arts (band, chorus and ensemble, theater, photography and fine art programs).

Our schools provide a broad array of educational experiences and extracurricular opportunities designed to challenge students to reach their fullest potential.

The district is particularly proud of its school-community and its commitment to quality education programs. This includes an elementary parent-teacher association, middle and high school parent-teacher-student organization and Purrfect Partners, an advisory group.
