Assistant Superintendent of Water & Sewer

Permanent full-time Assistant Superintendent of Water & Sewer position $89,030 - $106,202 annually (40 Hours per week) includes benefit package. Successful completion of Civil Service Examination is required and applicant must meet all requirements set forth in the Employees Civil Service Ordinance. Pre-employment background investigation and substance abuse testing is required. 

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
This position requires comprehensive knowledge of the following: management, operation, maintenance and repair of water and wastewater systems, facilities and infrastructure, water and sewer pipeline construction. Also, candidate should have knowledge of administrative, budgetary and modern office management techniques. Applicant must have the ability to do the following:
learn the policies and procedures of the department regarding water and wastewater systems, facilities and infrastructure. In addition, applicant must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships when dealing with employees, elected officials, other governmental and regulatory agencies, as well as the public.
