Cottonwood Elementary and El Capitan Junior High are dedicated to providing our students with an advanced education where they can obtain the skills they need to succeed in life. Our school is looking for talented, committed professionals who will provide our students with a strong foundation in reading, writing, and math. The ideal candidate for this position will be able to work effectively in team environments and maintain positive relationships with staff, students and families.  Cottonwood is hiring up to two elementary teachers for grades K-5.  El Capitan Junior High is hiring one teacher for grades 6-8.

School operates on a four-day instructional week and pride itself on bringing arts and athletics into a rigorous academic curriculum. School favors candidates that can bring athletic and extracurricular opportunities to the junior high.  

School is located just 22 miles from Hurricane, Utah and 30 miles from Fredonia, AZ.  Candidates with bachelor’s degrees will be considered.  The Colorado City / Hildale geographic area is developing and many housing opportunities will be available within the next year.

Qualifications:  Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card, Arizona Teaching Certificate

Contract:  Nine Months
