Under the general supervision of a designated supervisor, the CEPA Coordinator works in support of the Concurrent Enrollment program. The primary role is to support the partnership between the local school districts and CMC campuses, building relationships with school district personnel, coordinating all aspects of the CEPA program between the local school districts and CMC, identifying concurrent enrollment opportunities for students, coordinate enrollment and testing, and related duties. Examples may include a Bachelor’s and two years related experience, or equivalent education and experience that will provide the necessary knowledge, skill and abilities to perform the functions of the position. Special Skills or abilities directly applicable to the position: knowledge of concurrent enrollment programs, placement procedures and requirements, local high school and college operations desired. Knowledge of current office practices, procedures and equipment; basic technology applications; ability to work collaboratively with internal and external parties; experience with organizing and coordinating events; strong written, verbal, and presentation skills; computer skills and proficiency with common software such as Microsoft Office. Ability to: facilitate cooperation through discussion and consensus-building; analyze problems, identify alternative solutions, project consequences of proposed actions and implement recommendations in support of organizational goals; implement policy to effect a functional administrative delivery system; ability to provide leadership in order to implement institutional and divisional goals; communicate effectively orally and in writing; establish cooperative working relationships in the course of performing assigned duties; manage and lead others; multi-task, problem solve, and make appropriate decisions.
