GRETNA PUBLIC SCHOOLS FOUNDATION
The Gretna Public Schools Foundation is seeking a Bookkeeper to oversee the financial operations of both the Foundation and Gretna Kids Connection. The role of the foundation bookkeeper is to provide accounting support to the Executive Director as well as the Director of Gretna Kids Connection. The bookkeeper candidate should have an Associate degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience. The candidate should also possess a knowledge of bookkeeping and generally accepted accounting principles both standard and non-profit. The preferred candidate would have some experience administering benefits and have a good working knowledge of basic accounting software.
•Associate's or bachelor's degree required
•Knowledge of non-profit organization and accounting
•Able to gain proficiency in software applications as needed
•Excellent organizational and time management skills
•Detail oriented and possesses a positive attitude
