NOTICE

Lafourche Parish School Superintendent is presently accepting applications for the following position:

Lead Accountant – Payroll/PEP

240 days

(7.5 hours per day)

Salary Range: $53,504-73,600

Qualifications:

* B.S. degree in Accounting or Business Administration with a minimum of twenty-seven semester hours in accounting

* Demonstrate competence in assigned tasks and proficiency in the use of microcomputers and other business machines;

* Possess good communication and mathematical skills;

* Ability to exercise judgment in making decisions in accordance with policies and practices of the Business Department

* Ability to prioritize work schedule to do multiple tasks effectively;

* Three years of experience in general accounting, Master’s degree in Business Administration or CPA certificate desirable
