Student Success Liaison will be responsible for communication and outreach to the student body on behalf of Pathway to Excellence grant. The primary responsibility is to provide ongoing support, communication and outreach to all Lamar State College Port Arthur students to support student success. This includes maintaining pro-active, regular and consistent contact with students in order to influence student success and retention. The Student Success Liaison will promote and inspire student success through personal example and increased student awareness and utilization of the success coaching services and other programs provided by Pathway to Excellence. Contact students on a daily based via text, email and/or phone. Develop and manage a web-based information resource center for student access. This is a grant funded position is for a two-year time period. Title V grant is a five-year grant awarded by the Department of Education. Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
Position is security sensitive and subject to Texas education Code 51.215, which authorizes the employer to obtain criminal history record information.
Salary: $34,000 Annual Salary, Plus Excellent Benefits
