Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) Analyst - NBU
With a focus on promoting a positive client-centered College Human Resources division and organizational culture, the HRIS analyst will independently coordinate, plan and prioritize tasks according to time constraints and deadlines. Provides Department Administrators with support with maintenance and creation of college HRIS applications and modules
Job Responsibilities
Supports and maintains optimal function of HRIS, which may include installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrade to applications, systems, and modules utilized by Human Resources.
Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users.
Collaborates with administrators and HR staff to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommends and implements solutions.
Manages permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users.
Compiles and/or assists with the development of complex data reports, summaries, and logs for Confidential use, inclusive of but not limited to, negotiation and collective bargaining strategy, by HR administrators.
Serves as the project manager, and liaison between HR, information services, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HRIS design and implementation projects.
Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology.
Creation of documentation for technological policies and procedures for Human Resources department
Will be expected to learn operations and activities of all the areas in the Office of Human Resources and of the College, as needed
Will stay abreast of all current technology developments in Human Resources.
Will make strategic recommendations for technology upgrades in the Human Resources department
Works in collaboration with administrators on special projects and HR initiatives.
Serves on committees and represents the department as assigned.
Coordinates activities with other HR staff as assigned.
Participates in developing systems to update policies and procedures.
Performs related duties as assigned.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Reports to the Director of Total Rewards, Wellness, and Operations and receives direction from other Human Resources Administration.
SUPERVISION GIVEN: May supervise full and part-time staff as assigned.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution is required
Preliminary Qualifications
Three years’ of related experience in computer software and operating systems. Experience as a power user in a department with a thorough understanding of data and table relationships is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a Human Resources environment preferred.
Documented experience in working with end users, programmers or vendors is preferred. Higher Education and/or Experience with Ellucian, Perfect Forms, Hyland Products, ImageNow, and other HRIS applications preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Computer competence. Communication skills (written and verbal) and strong analytical skills.

Work Hours: 40 hour work week. Mon thru Fri as determined by the department
Salary: $66,041 to $75,505 (salary for 2022-2023)
