Visiting Instructor, Physical Education

Millikin University’s School of Exercise Science & Sport invites applicants for one position: Visiting Instructor of Physical Education. An earned master’s degree (terminal degree preferred) is required for the Visiting Instructor position. Candidates for the position must have one or more field-specific degrees. A minimum of two years of successful teaching experience is desirable as is additional experience or academic preparation in physical education or related area. Candidates must hold excellent communication skills, ability to multi-task, and willingness to collaborate with colleagues in and outside the department.

Candidates for the position will be responsible for teaching 12 credit hours or the equivalent each semester, advising students, engaging in scholarship, and serving as an effective member of the school, college, campus, and surrounding community.
