DIRECTOR OF EDUCATION AND LICENSING
NORTH CAROLINA REAL ESTATE COMMISSION
Director needed to plan, organize, and direct the education & licensing division of independent state regulatory agency. Requires extensive knowledge of adult education, real estate brokerage principles and practices and of Commission rules, policies and procedures. Master’s degree or higher in adult education, education or related field & considerable experience in adult education and administration, with at least one year of experience in real estate brokerage; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. North Carolina Broker License preferred.
General Statement of Duties
Performs managerial, administrative, supervisory and professional duties in planning, organizing, and directing the Education and Licensing Division for the Real Estate Commission.

The North Carolina Real Estate Commission is an independent North Carolina state governmental agency whose mission is to protect the public interest in real estate brokerage transactions. The primary function of the Commission is to license and regulate North Carolina’s approximately 90,000 plus real estate brokers and firms. The Commission also registers and regulates sales activities at time share projects, and oversees prelicensing, postlicensing, and continuing education for brokers and applicants for brokers licenses.
