RESOURCE ROOM TEACHER

North Greenbush Common School District is accepting applications for a full time Resource Room Special Education Teacher. This public-school teaching position is in our district of location’s private  school. Full time positions with North Greenbush CSD are eligible for benefits and NYS Teachers’ Retirement. Candidates for this position must possess a valid NYS Certification in Students w/Disabilities 7-12, 7-9, or Students with Disabilities All Grades.

North Greenbush CSD is also accepting applications for a long-term substitute for a Resource Room position, grades 6-9.

Built in 1861 the "Little Red School House" is believed to be one of the last one room school houses in the State of New York that continues to operate and educate elementary students.

Property for Little Red was deeded to the school district from farmland owned by Peter & Gitty DeFreest and Ruger and Helen Vandenbergh.
