This position provides full-time support to the Boards of Trustees of the fund raising and community outreach Corporations (“Foundations”) of the University. This position also serves as the Assistant Corporate Secretary for each of the corporations, as described in their By-laws. This position provides administrative and office support to the staff of the Foundations.
Required Qualifications:
Considerable knowledge of effective customer service and problem-resolution techniques. Working/basic knowledge of fiscal related policies, practices and procedures. Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated effective time management and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to read and interpret financial statements. Demonstrated ability to promote efficiency, maintain confidentiality and exercise independent judgment. Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures. Demonstrated ability to develop and prepare documents, statistical reports, graphs, and presentations using Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and Power Point. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while producing quality work. Demonstrated ability to utilize technology for virtual meetings and paperless processes. Considerable experience providing administrative support and/or coordination to others; to include taking minutes, preparing and drafting correspondence, creating reports, and completing special projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
Working/basic knowledge of Foundation fiscal and administrative policies and procedures. Prior working/basic experience with university development or fundraising. Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience. Experience with event management.
