Director of Special Education and Curriculum

Pine Valley Central School District, located in South Dayton in rural Western New York, is seeking a Director of Special Education and Curriculum to join its Panther family. This position features a salary range of $75,000 to $100,000 commensurate with experience. All qualified candidates should apply by July 17, 2024.

* You possess a School Building Leader or School District Leader certificate.

* You are a strong communicator, outside-the-box thinker, compassionate colleague, and an energetic problem-solver.?

* You have experience leading a team, preferably in the area of special education

* You are passionate about curriculum and providing quality experiences for staff and students.


* Effectively and efficiently lead our Special Education Department.

* Act as a thought partner with our leadership team to plan and facilitate staff professional development opportunities.

* Oversee financial and budget planning for Special Education and Curriculum & Instruction departments.

* Partner with the superintendent to recruit, hire, train and mentor new employees.

* Collaborate with area districts and BOCES to provide Special Education services.
