Southeast New Mexico College is looking to hire an
Instructor or Assistant Professor of Allied Health Dual Credit
Required qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or higher learning in nursing. Must be willing to obtain a Master’s degree within 5 years of hire. Maintaining licensure as necessary during employment is required. Current New Mexico License, or a compact state license, or eligibility to obtain a New Mexico license to practice as a registered nurse. Two (2) years clinical experience in an acute care setting. The accepted job candidate will teach dual-credit courses in Allied Health at Carlsbad High School. Preferred: A master’s degree in a health-related field. Experience working with ethnically diverse and rural student populations; to include working with underprepared students. Demonstrates an appreciation for and understanding of the unique needs of the student in both academic and vocational disciplines. Salary Range $61,250 to $69,300 DOE.
