Middle School Language Arts & Social Studies Teacher

Trinity Preparatory School is excited to announce that we are expanding middle school, beginning the 2023-2024 school year, as we currently have 8^th graders, and we are looking forward to adding 7^th and 6^th graders.  If you are an innovative, creative, student-centered teacher, we want YOU!  

We would love for you to apply for a teaching position that is responsible for developing a classroom which encompasses reading with comprehension, writing to improve the grammar skillset, and being able to speak and advocate with various middle school needs utilizing effective communication.  This would require a teacher with a creative mind, as you develop the scope and sequence of your curriculum, tailored to individual student needs academically, as well as emotionally and socially.  

The Social Studies component would include teaching general history, geography, and economics.  The teacher may also make students aware of political and religious historical and current discussions that may be found in literature.  A strong focus may be placed on the culture and diversity of the world in which we live.

In essence, Trinity Preparatory School is searching for a dedicated teacher who envisions teaching as relating to family, growing community, enhancing teaching and learning so that the whole student can be educated socially, emotionally, and academically.  The expectation is to embrace our model of student-centered, multimedia, hands-on learning with minimal homework that is assigned to reinforce learning.
