Construction Trades Apprenticeship Preparation (CTAP) Instructor
Walla Walla Community College (WWCC) is seeking applicants for a Construction Trades Apprenticeship Preparation (CTAP) Instructor in the Corrections Education program located at the Washington State Penitentiary in Walla Walla, Washington. CTAP is a 16-week introductory course to prepare students to enter an apprenticeship. The course introduces students to a variety of trades including but not limited to, Laborers, Iron Workers, Cement Mason, and Carpenters. Qualifications: Four years of recent journey level work experience in building trades OR 1-year certificate or degree and two years journey level work experience in building trades. Salary Range: Initial placement is generally $71,243- $81,217 for a standard 212-day contract, dependent on qualifications (additional compensation for doctorate degree).
