ENTREPRENEURIAL STUDIES / ECONOMICS TEACHER
Dynamic teacher to assist in the delivery and continued development of the Entrepreneurial Studies program and teach AP Economics. The candidate will need to have a passion for pushing creative young minds to think resourcefully, critically, and ethically. Individuals must embody entrepreneurship in how they approach teaching and learning.
Entrepreneurial Studies Responsibilities
- Choosing course materials including Harvard Business School case studies to teach the core fundamentals of entrepreneurship.
- Teaching using the case method and other skills-based courses.
- Building the program brand internally and externally.
- Connecting with alumni and community leaders to bring external perspectives into the classroom.
- Assisting with the capstone experience.
- AP Economics Responsibilities
- Teach AP Economics curriculum (AP training provided)
- Teach Economics electives as required
Requirements
- 3-10 years of experience teaching in an academic or experiential learning setting.
- Strong teaching and mentoring skills.
- Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
- A sound understanding of and passion for the subject matter.
- A growth mindset and excellent networking abilities.
